French citizens in cameroon Donate for the fight against Boko Haram



According to CTRV website, The donation was made on Monday 14th July at the Yaounde 101 Air Force Base.

The six container medical equipment and toiletries were handed over to the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee responsible for managing donations to war victims and defence forces, Rene Emmanuel Sadi.

He was accompanied by the Secretary General in the Ministry of Defence in charge of ex-service men and war veterans Koumpa Issa and the Minister of Public Health Andre Mama Fouda.

According to Pierre Clerfeuille a French citizen in Cameroon, the gift goes a long way to show French support to Cameroon and her neighbours in the fight against Boko Haram.

He added that the French community will never forget Cameroon’s role in the release of Moulin-Fournier Vandenbeusch, a French family that was kidnapped in the North of Cameroon.

In addition, the French citizens indicated that the second phase this donation will come in the months ahead with the distribution of some 55,000 textbooks to primary and secondary schools in the Far North a means to facilitate the learning process and encourage education.
